Clinical Standards & Approach
At Nepal Hypnosis, our practice is grounded in professional ethics, evidence-informed care, absolute confidentiality, and deep respect for each client's individuality.
1. Our Approach to Care
We reject rigid, one-size-fits-all models. Every individual brings a unique history, relational background, and internal strength. Our eclectic and integrative psychotherapy framework tailors interventions specifically to what is clinically appropriate and meaningful for you.
2. Initial Assessment & Treatment Planning
Care begins with a structured initial consultation and assessment. We explore your current difficulties, relevant life history, and personal goals. Together, we establish collaborative treatment milestones rather than imposing pre-determined timelines.
3. Confidentiality & Privacy
Confidentiality is the cornerstone of trust in psychotherapy. All disclosures, clinical session records, and communications are protected under stringent professional ethics. The boundaries of confidentiality—such as immediate risk to self or others—are transparently discussed during your first session.
4. Evidence-Informed Practice & Supervision
Our lead practitioners maintain active advanced academic candidacy (such as PsyD studies) and engage in continuous professional development and peer supervision. We draw upon validated psychotherapeutic modalities while maintaining rigorous boundaries regarding what alternative or adjunctive techniques can and cannot achieve.
5. Emergency & Crisis Limitations
Nepal Hypnosis operates as an outpatient psychotherapy and counselling clinic. We are not an emergency crisis-response facility. For acute psychiatric emergencies, clients are directed immediately to hospital emergency services or national crisis helplines (such as 1166).
